Great opportunity: crane operator (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane operator in Bastrop County, Texas. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Current medical and eyesight certificate Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
