Press shop operator • San Augustine County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press shop operator in San Augustine County, Texas. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. The role involves: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses 4+ years on the tools preferred.
