Now hiring: we are hiring a head butcher in Curry County, Oregon. You will be based at a busy retail butcher's shop. On a typical shift you will take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. You should have: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
