Now hiring: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Arthur County, Nebraska. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. The role involves: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines You should have: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Strong attention to safety and load limits Rotating shifts.
