Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in San Augustine County, Texas. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm On a typical shift you will load and index turning tools in the turret; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
