Canteen cook — Wasatch County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a canteen cook in Wasatch County, Utah. Day-to-day duties: • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha Requirements: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards 4+ years on the tools preferred.
