Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Sangamon County, Illinois. Requirements: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts On a typical shift you will load and index turning tools in the turret; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
