What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection The role involves check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; load and index turning tools in the turret; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear.
