Vacancy available: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Talbot County, Georgia. You will be based in a public park. Day-to-day duties: • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease You should have: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
