Tig welder — Ijebu Ode

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Your main tasks: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
