Lathe programmer-operator — Huron County

Join our team: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Huron County, Ohio. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Your main tasks: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
