Horizontal milling machine operator • Trinity County, California

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Trinity County, California. The job is at an automotive components factory. On a typical shift you will machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
