Join our team: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Nance County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up. Ideal candidate: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
