Foundry labourer — Abi

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Abi, Cross River State. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Day to day you will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around ₦11,500 per day, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
