Furnace operator — Muya

Immediate opening: we are hiring a furnace operator in Muya, Niger State. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Rotating shifts.
