Lathe programmer-operator wanted in Deuel County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Deuel County, Nebraska. The job is at a busy machine shop. Your main tasks: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
