Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Clay County, Texas. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work On the job you will handle: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
