Tower crane operator — Markurdi

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Markurdi, Benue State. You will be based in a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control. Ideal candidate: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Six days a week, one day off.
