Immediate opening: excavator operator (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Smith County, Texas. You will be based in a demolition and site-clearance yard. On the job you will handle: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance Requirements: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
