General labourer — Bodinga

Vacancy available: we are hiring a general labourer in Bodinga, Sokoto State. You will work with a civil contractor. Your main tasks: • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker Requirements: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
