Tracked excavator operator • Llano County, Texas

Now hiring: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Llano County, Texas. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. On the job you will handle: • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly Requirements: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs 2+ years on the tools preferred.
