Immediate opening: we are hiring a head butcher in Austin County, Texas. You will be based in a meat processing plant. You should have: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler On a typical shift you will stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; season and marinate meat on request; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date.
