What we are looking for: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work On the job you will handle: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure Six days a week, one day off.
