Your main tasks: • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights You should have: • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • A good head for heights and steady balance • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems 5+ years on the tools preferred.
