Horticulturist — Cobb County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horticulturist in Cobb County, Georgia. You will work at a plant nursery. You will prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed. Ideal candidate: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
