Offshore rigger — Emuoha

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Emuoha, Rivers State. Day to day you will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Confident with standard crane hand signals Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
