Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Able to read load charts and lifting plans The role involves: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports Six days a week, one day off.
