Foundry worker wanted in Ikeja

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in Ikeja, Lagos State. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Part-time with flexible hours.
