Join our team: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Cook County, Illinois. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Your main tasks: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Season and marinate meat on request • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights You should have: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Part-time with flexible hours.
