Ladle pourer wanted in Epe

Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Epe, Lagos State. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Day to day you will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 2+ years on the tools preferred.
