Groundsman — Logan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundsman in Logan County, Illinois. The role involves operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Part-time with flexible hours.
