Immediate opening: we are hiring a presser in Warri North, Delta State. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine The role involves: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
