Presser — Pherzawl

Vacancy available: we are hiring a presser in Pherzawl, Manipur. You will work at a garment factory. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings The role involves meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; give each garment a final press before packing. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer ₹17,500 per month plus benefits.
