You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Day to day you will meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number.
