Now hiring: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Highland County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site You should have: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
