Core maker — Egbeda

Vacancy available: we are hiring a core maker in Egbeda, Oyo State. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. Your main tasks: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
