D6/D8 dozer operator • Juniata County, Pennsylvania

Now hiring: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Juniata County, Pennsylvania. You will work on a quarry floor. Your main tasks: • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil Requirements: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain 2+ years on the tools preferred.
