Landscape gardener • Gada, Sokoto State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Gada, Sokoto State. You will be based at a plant nursery. Requirements: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish On the job you will handle: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
