Overhead (EOT) crane operator — Gwandu

Immediate opening: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Gwandu, Kebbi State. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. Your main tasks: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
