Plant operator — Yala

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Yala, Cross River State. You will work in a packaging factory. Day-to-day duties: • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges Six days a week, one day off.
