Ironing operator • Middlesex County, New Jersey

Vacancy available: we are hiring an ironing operator in Middlesex County, New Jersey. You will work in a busy laundry. The role involves shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; give each garment a final press before packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory 1+ years on the tools preferred.
