Machinist — Orlu

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machinist in Orlu, Imo State. Day-to-day duties: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Part-time with flexible hours.
