Day to day you will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
