Vacancy available: we are hiring a press operator in Katagum, Bauchi State. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
