Join our team: we are hiring a gardener in Appling County, Georgia. You will be based on a golf course. Day to day you will mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
