Sand plant operator — Albasu

Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Albasu, Kano State. On a typical shift you will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
