Head butcher — Yenegoa

Now hiring: we are hiring a head butcher in Yenegoa, Bayelsa State. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Day to day you will vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone. Requirements: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate 3+ years on the tools preferred. We offer ₦80,000 per month plus benefits.
