Join our team: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Dane County, Wisconsin. You will work in a steel fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience.
