Vacancy available: port container crane operator (Utah)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Piute County, Utah. You will work in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts On a typical shift you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
