You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Day to day you will feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges.
